This is a very cool image from NASA. It is obviously manipulated as it shows a cloud-free image of Earth all at night, but it's really compelling. It is very interesting to see where the lights are and where they are not. I knew that Java would have that many but I'll bet most people wouldn't. But then again, most people don't even know where Java is (do you?).
