Crackpot Web Sites
John Dvorak recently had a column on Crackpot Web Sites in which he asks the readers to submit their favorites. I put in my two cents worth as follows: As requested, my favorite crackpot site belongs to conspiracy theorist par excellance William Cooper. To get the full flavor of Cooper's particular theory, you need to read a document entitled "MAJESTYTWELVE" at http://www.hourofthetime.com/majestyt.htm. It explains that the conspiracy to rule the world (which apparenlty involves just about everyone in the world except William Cooper) is a Jewish-Masonic-Catholic-Communist-Illuminati plot with--could it be?--SATAN ultimately behind it all. It's long but well worth wading through for the treasure trove of unintentional humor. Did you know (for example) that "...Any intelligent high school student with a basic physics book can prove NASA faked the Apollo moon landings.."? Or that "...the IRS is not an agency of the Department of the Treasury or the United States government..." and "...the IRS and BATF are in reality one organization. These agencies are unregistered agents of foreign powers and have no power or authority to tax Citizens of the several States of the Union..."? Or that "...the new soviet style IRS headquarters in the Federal Building at New Carrollton, Maryland is, in fact, an Illuminati Temple..."?. I'd better stop and let you read it. It's a hoot...
