DO NOT STAND AT MY GRAVE AND WEEP

Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow; I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain; I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the mornings hush, I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there. I did not die.

Ken's Boot Camp Class:
we think he is not in this
picture as he was in Balboa
Naval Hospital for quite a
while with the mumps. He
was probably still there when
this was taken, but it is the
class he graduated with, as
one of Ken and Greta's
neighbors in Vista,
Jack Jones, was in the class
and is in the picture.

Promotion to Staff Sergeant
Norfolk, VA, 1953. SSGT
in 6 years is pretty good
for someone who was
promoted to Corporal
three times!
